The City Council will vote on the appointment of Sandra Washington to fill the vacant City Council seat. See 10/11 News.

Lincoln City Council Chair Jane Raybould announced the process to fill the At-Large City Council seat that was vacated Monday, May 20 when Council member Leirion Gaylor Baird was sworn in as Mayor. Apply for the City Council seat by submitting a resume and a cover letter stating their reasons for wanting to serve on the Council. The information must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 28. Lancaster County officials are accepting applications to fill the vacant District 2 seat representing northwest Lancaster County.  Submit a letter of applications by Friday, May 31. See the requirements, read the full news release.
